About me

Let me introduce myself...my name is Lara Wallace. I grew up in Utah in the Mormon faith, and am a mother of 6 who deeply cares about my family. I’m passionate about living the best life possible.  As an active Progressive Mormon learning by study and faith, working out problems, and growing spiritually is very important to me. Through life experiences my family has grown through the hardships and transitioned.  By sharing what I've learned, I hope for people not to feel alone in these matters. We've had many life experiences, including dealing with mental disorders on the Autistic Spectrum, anxiety, and depression. These things along with mutations on my MTHFR have led our family undergo a health change, in our diet. We have dealt with the experienced the tragic and heart breaking death of our oldest daughter which has led us to see life differently, and be more focused on the spiritual world and what's most important in life. I love beautiful things, and have been interested in teaching and creating art for most of my life. I am passionate about the visual language and hope to progress and exhibit my work. I married an artist and together we hope to make beautiful things together. My husband Jay also long to live in the country where we could live a more self sustaining life. I am discovering new things each day, and starting this blog because I have a little more time this year, to record and share the important things I’ve learned, and hope that it will help others who are going through a similar journey.
